This dedication service which has been celebrated for some 42 years will be held on Sunday 23 March at 0930 at the Glenwood Presbyterian Church, 339 Esther Roberts Road.
Here, members of the International Sailors Society re-dedicate their lives to serving seafarers.
Chaplain Paddy Percival, who was a chaplain with the Sailors Society for many years will conduct the sermon this year. Always a feature is the wonderful Presbyterian Church choir who leads the singing of well known hymns, which the congregation always sing most enthusiastically!
The band of the Salvation Army will be in attendance.
Although the focus is on ISS members, all are welcome to attend this service and join the Sailors’ Society for tea and eats in the hall after the service.
